Hip aesthetics, butt fat injection, or more popularly known as Brazilian buttocks or Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery is a body contouring surgery performed to give a more beautiful, rounder and fuller shape to the hip area. In this surgery, we first remove the fat from unwanted parts of the body with vaser liposuction. Post-Surgical Pain
The pain you will feel during your stay in the hospital after the operation is controlled with painkillers. Oral pain relief tablets are sufficient for mild pain that may continue the day after the surgery. We can use hollow thin cables called drains to prevent fluid accumulation in the operation area. We check the amount of liquid in them and usually remove them easily within 2-3 days. You have swelling in the operation area. They decrease from the 2nd week. Resting and drinking plenty of water after the surgery accelerates this process.
Post-Surgery Undesirable Situations
In the early period, bleeding and infection are considered among the possible complications, as is the case after every surgery. Some serious risks related to the blood circulation system begin to arise, especially in the case of a very high volume of fat in fat transfers. Therefore, we take great care to stay within safe limits.
Dressing and Care
On the 3rd day after the operation, we remove the bandages and sponges completely. Then only corsets are worn. You can take a bath after the 3rd day. Since liposuction and fat injections are entered from a very small point, a single self-melting stitch is sufficient. This stitch falls off automatically within 2-3 weeks. Therefore, there is no need to take dressing and stitches.
Corset
For the first 4 weeks, you use the corset that we put on during surgery. You can remove it for short periods of time, such as bathing and grooming.
The way to sit and lie on the hip
It is important to protect the hip from pressure as much as possible in the first 4 weeks. We use some special pillows for this. In cases where this pillow is not with you, it will be sufficient to put a small pillow on the back of your legs to keep your hips in the air and to sit on this area without leaning back. After the operation, it should be laid face down. If it is necessary to sleep on your back, the waist and back of the legs should be supported with plenty of pillows and your body weight should not put pressure on the hip area.
